Global Rich List

Check out the Global Rich list at http://www.globalrichlist.com/ to find out where how your income ranks compared to the rest of the world.  In a country where we always want more, this is a quite humbling experiment.

I recently listened to a sermon by John Ortberg where he encouraged people start comparing ourselves to people who have less then we do, which is about 99% of people around the world, which will produce generosity rather than comparing ourselves to people who have more which only produces greed and covetousness.  This is a practice that I'm working on implementing in my own life.
